PIRATE TRAP BEACH
Tucked away on the island’s quiet northern tip, this hidden cove rewards the curious with glassy, still water and soft sand you’ll likely have all to yourself. Come early and watch the sunrise paint the bay.
TOWN BEACH
Also called Public Beach, this is Staniel Cay’s front porch. Just south of the Yacht Club on the western shore, it’s the place to wade in, mingle with locals, and toast the sunset as it glows behind the sailboats bobbing in the harbor.
OCEAN BEACH
Trade calm for wild on the island’s Atlantic-facing east side. Here the surf rolls in, the breeze whips through your hair, and a long ribbon of white sand begs for a barefoot sunrise stroll.
HO TAI BEACH
Seek out this hideaway for a true escape. The sand may be scarce, but the sweeping views and pure stillness more than make up for it.
SOUTH BEACH
Follow the trail from Ho Tai and you’ll be rewarded with the island’s longest stretch of shoreline, perfect for a lazy wander from end to end.
PIPE CREEK & LITTLE PIPE CAY SANDBARS
A 2024 pick for the World’s 50 Best Beaches, this magical ribbon of sand rises from the sea for just a few hours each day, then slips away with the tide. Reachable only by boat, it’s never quite the same twice.
SANDY CAY SANDBAR
Just a hop west of Pig Beach, low tide unveils a sweeping plain of sand stretching into the turquoise, like a desert floating in the middle of the sea.
CAMBRIDGE CAY
Worth the extra ride north toward the Exuma Land and Sea Park, where dazzling sandbars and impossibly blue water make for postcard-perfect photos.
